Scalr proudly supports multi cloud deployment! You can now manage multiple clouds – private and public – at the same time on the same interface. Isn’t it great?
It’s like realizing cheesecake is both cake and pie at the same time (a.k.a the best of both worlds). Multi cloud deployments allow you to put your infrastructure partly on one cloud, partly on another. With this split, you can take advantage of existing datacenter capacity for disaster recovery. Or you can simply earn bragging rights over your colleagues down the hall.
You can manage your cloud environments via the Scalr.net hosted service or with an On Premise deployment that uses the open source code (don’t forget to get a support contract!).
